Mark Olander is a retired CEO serving as a Vistage International Chair emphasizing continual personal improvement to grow efficient and more valuable organizations which emulate the vision of the CEO. Mark received his BA in Accounting and his Executive MBA from Stanford University. He has been preparing tax returns since 1979 and is licensed as an Enrolled Agent and admitted to practice before the US Tax Court. At the end of 2020, Mark retired as the CEO of TRIHoldCo, Inc. and TaxAudit, and he continues to assist the Centenal Tax Group and his longtime clients with tax return preparation.

Mark is passionate about giving back to youth and helping them have a brighter future. Having watched as the resources expended on our children through the schools and other agencies dwindle, he says, “the only thing that we leave behind are our youth and it is our responsibility to make sure that their lives are better than the ones that we had. This dream seems to be more difficult to achieve than it once was. Stanford Sierra offers support to those individuals and families that need more, not less, assistance in achieving a better life.”

Mark lives in Loomis with his wife, and all four of his children live in the surrounding area. He has seven grandchildren and enjoys being involved in their lives. His passions include cooking and preparing healthy and delicious food, boating, and traveling in his RV. International travel has also long been an enjoyable and informative pastime of his.
