Internships
Career Pathways
Internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate college students
Career Pathways is an internship and service learning program for college students considering a career in the mental/behavioral health, juvenile justice, and/or adoption/foster care systems. The program is designed to be a pipeline for the next generation of highly qualified and diverse helping professionals (i.e. social workers, counselors, therapists, etc.)
The Career Pathways Program’s internship component provides interns with a structured teaching and learning environment – this enhances and enriches students’ learning experience by combining academics with practical field work. The Career Pathways Program Coordinator meets individually with each intern at the beginning of his/her placement to review the student’s curriculum and develop a plan that includes interns being assigned with meaningful internship projects and activities aligned with their course study.
